DAC Services

Postby Ole Wise Kidd on Fri Feb 22, 2008 11:13 pm

I am starting this forum to help drivers get information on how to contact DAC services . Many times I run across drivers that say a company put incorrect entries and information on their DAC reports. Most drivers don’t know that usually those negative items cant be removed but you can go in and rebuttal what the company says. I will post as much info as I can on how to do this but if anyone has info on DAC, your post would be greatly appreciated so we can help some drivers out !

I filed an appeal through DAC against two different carriers that were supplying bogus information to them. It took over a month but I won the appeal. There were three items of contention and all three were removed.

With this "clean" report in hand I wrote and certified letters to each of these dishonest companies. In the letters I stated that the companies better be conscious of what they tell prospective employers because I may be the one calling for the reference!

You would be the first driver I have ever heard of that got negative information removed without attorney intervention. Would you please explain the steps you went through to get this done. That would be some great information for drivers that have the same problem !

Thanks and welcome to the board!!
